I'm looking for a feature that will pan the individual voices in the stereo field. Hit a key and it may 35 degrees left. Hit another key and may go 15 degrees right, but the first voice(key) remains at 35 degrees left. I hope I'm just overlooking it. I know you can modulate the pan, but that is for the main out and pan's all voices at the same time.

Thanks,Nick

[copied from an earlier post] ...  Is there a way to alternate the panning with each key stroke? My Prophet six has pan spread. I can spread each voice in the stereo field or if I set the knob all the way, each key press will alternate between left and right. Can Layr do that?

Hi Nick, thanks for joining our forum. It's been a bit quiet recently but this is the place to come if you have questions like this one :)

If I understand your question you're asking for a method to pan using key position?

Currently using note numbers for pan modulation is not implemented in LayR ( 1.0.6 ) but panning is per voice per layer, it's not a global modulation which means you can have different pan positions for each layer. If you let a very slow LFO run freely by turning off the "restart" button in the LFO, then each time you press a key that layer will be panned to a different position depending on the phase of the LFO at the time the key is pressed. That way at least you can achieve different pans per voice.

FYI: LayR's modulation sections are due for update in the future so I've added your question as a feature in the todo list!
