Check out this incredible video made by Brice.

Demonstrating a new collection of cinematic themed presets he's created...

Excellent video! And almost has me off the fence. I haven't gone for LayR yet because it looks fairly complex and I'm not certain I have the chops yet to build patches as nice as this.

Any estimate on when the next update will be out that has these patches in it?

Hopefully very soon, 2 or 3 weeks, v1.0.4 will also include AB3 integration, Ableton Link and possibly a MIDI out port.

Andy, if I decide I don't want to wait 2-3 weeks to dive in... are these new Brice presets available to download and import into the current LayR build?

Skip, you might be able to persuade Brice to send them to you ;)

Andy, Brice has already teased me with that possibility. He said he wants to refine them a little more before he shares them into the wild. :)

Ok, I've joined the club and fell off the fence last night. :)

I've got some presets but I'm not sure how to get them into LayR. Seems like you were supposed to be able to use iCloud for this, but my instructions from Brice only showing a method that involves using iTunes. Is there not an easy way to share/trade presets via iCloud or Dropbox?

Skip - on both "Load" screens (performances and instruments), there is a little iCloud icon.  If you tap that, it will open your iCloud drive from which you can import.  Similarly, on the "Save" screens.

Forgot to mention, there is also a video on the YouTube channel demonstrating iCloud import/export:  YouTube iCloud import/export video

These are really fabulous presents. Not only are they very useful for musical purposes but they are great tutorials in themselves. I love this synthesizer app. The arpeggiaroris amazing. Some of the arpeggiator sample presets that come with this app  are fantastic too.
